Movie Review: Big Mommas: Like Father Like Son (2011)

Boring 3/10

It really felt like it's a desperate comeback for Martin Lawrence, and the only joke I get, is that the movie fell flat on its own face. For a comedy movie, Big Mommas: Like Father Like Son is totally not funny at all.

There was very few moment that made you laugh and totally forgot about everything when the movie end. Story line - predictable, joke - nothing new, action - close to zero.

The only thing that really caught my attention is when Trent (Brandon T. Jackson) and Haley (Jessica Lucas) are trying to come out with a duet for a new song - Baby You Know, mostly because I love music and if you don't, then there's really nothing for you to enjoy in the movie.

All in all, this movie is not worth your time in the cinema. The first one was okay, second one was barely remembered and this third one is totally unnecessary.

Until next time, see you around my friend =)

Movie Review: Sucker Punch (2011)

AWESOME 6/10

Snyder really knows how to exaggerate story with style. Sucker Punch is one of the action-fantasy movie that must be watched.

The whole movie is like Inception + Alice in Wonderland + video game mode + music video with a sucker punch ending.

It's basically about 5 young girls who is locked inside a mental institution and do everything in their power to escape the place.

Its has everything that you could possibly ask for in a great action-fantasy movie. Dramatic opening, great music scores, hot girls, samurai, robots, cool effects, jaw dropping fight scenes and great storyline.

There is nothing much to be impress with the cast acting skill, except for Oscar Issac who plays Blue, but you won't even have to worry about it because you will instead be diverted to be impress with the actions, effects and fantasy world that the movie offered.

Sucker Punch is indeed a remarkable movie that will exceed your expectation. Its a journey of a quest to fight for survival, for freedom of oneself and others.

Until next time, see you around my friend =)
