Forgiveness

Finally I found a time to write a post. Life has been really busy this week. Helping out with the props for City Harvest KL grand opening weekend. Not to mentioned also about work and oh yes C3 conference is happening in Sunway Convention Centre and I'm trying to make it to one of the session that they are having ever since Tuesday.

SO have you watched the video from my previous post? I hope it does tingle your heart a lil' bit. One way or another, you are being represented by someone in the video. Everyone made mistakes but not all has the heart to ask for forgiveness.

I think the most common excuses that we always use to ovoid apology is that 'everyone is also doing it and none of them is saying sorry, so why should I be the first?', 'argh, its okay, they will understand', 'what's the use of apology when I'm just going to do the same again?'.

Well the truth is, no one can force you to make a sincere apology. A false apology will not make any difference to yourself, but no matter what excuses you are giving yourself not to apologize for your mistakes, lets not make this just about our ownself. Let's not be selfish and only care about our own feeling or what might and might not be for us.

Start to think others, and what we can do to make an impact on them or what positive changes that we can bring into their life. Be that someone who really cares and someone that matters to them. If you live your life only for yourself, then you have missed out the greatest joy others can offer to you.

Start caring for someone and start with forgiveness. Think others.

Forgiveness doesn't change the future, but it brightens the future.

Until next time, see you around my friend =)

Suicidal Stairs

Olla people! I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend no matter where you are.

So recently I have been taking a break from my parking lot jog at night. I needed something new to try out cause I'm not really a big fan of jogging and I still need to workout. I had a crazy thought one time and decided to give it a try and now it end up become one of my workout routine.

Suicidal Stairs (SS) is basically a workout where you running up and down the stairs. I stay in a 16 floor condo, so my SS would be running down from 16th floor to 1st floor, rest and then lunges to go back up the stairs, but instead of one step at a time, I take two steps at a time.

This is a great exercise to work on your lower body power and by going up the way I did, it will give you that nice shape of butt too, haha (I read it from somewhere long time ago). If you want stamina then you can choose to run up and down the stairs.

Going up the stairs is definitely more challenging than the normal jog. I almost gave up a few time, thank God for great mentality. My latest track of time is 14 minute 02.88 second, for 3 round of going up and down 16th floor. When I first started my time was 16:24.29.

I don't think I will go for the best time after this. I wanted to do a proper lunges going up the stairs. It will give more effectiveness in building up power for my lower body. I have to keep in mind, that I have to do all the workout the right and proper way.

My GymBoss is not here yet!

Until next time, see you around my friend =)

Pause, Rewind, Fast Forward

Emitted light,
Enlightened might,
Endeavored sight,
Energized fight.

I do agree that at a point in time of life, you do have to hit that pause button, take a moment to reflect the past and try to see a clearer future. It's a time of solitude where you get a better view of what you are currently doing and what is it that you are trying to achieved for your future.

I think I forgot to press that pause button and everything just happened while I'm still on play mode. The thought just suddenly came to me and insist that I take a time to really evaluate my own life. Perhaps its a normal thing that happened right after your birthday.

Life is about taking chances and making choices. I don't think making the right choice is that important at all. It will only causes too many 'what if' and fear in us that will only limit us from taking actions over our thoughts.

Actions! That's the enabler for all big dreams to become reality!

I really should be moving on from this doubt stage. It's time to step up another notch in life. At least when I look back I know that I really try to make a difference! Need to tidy up my resume and start sending some emails, haha!

PS: Anyone have any recommendation for me?

Until next time, see you around my friend =)

Laser Tag War!

Last Friday night, our cell group went for our first ever laser tag game at Mid Valley. It was marvelously awesome and we were flooded with adrenaline! The best part is, I ranked #2 that day! >:)

I still think that the game is a bit pricey judging by the time given and how big is the place for you to run around. Tho it's still sufficient enough to provide the fun and excitement for friends that just wanted to have fun on a Friday night.

The pricing for Galatic Laser at Mid Valley is as below:
1 Mission = RM20
2 Mission = RM35
3 Mission = RM45

Each mission is around 15-20 minutes long, and I think it's vary depends on which type of mission that you choose to play. A few type of mission that is available and that I know of is... Well why don't you check out their site for more details:: Galactic Laser.

Overall, it is still a new experience that's worth to try out. It's not as painful and as adventurous as paint ball but if you are looking for some light excitement and fun to go along with your friends who doesn't like to play rough then this is the game to go for.

My impression of Vin Diesel in The Chronicles of Riddick.

Until next time, see you around my friend =)

Body Rocker!

Since I'm going to follow some of Zuzana's workout and I do purchased a GYMBOSS because of her, so I guess I'm officially a Body Rocker too? Haha. Anyway, today I'll be sharing some of the workout that I'm going to be doing base on what Zuzana has posted on Youtube.

Basically she have a lot of easy but yet very intense workout that you can try out at home. I'll only be choosing some that could really help me to shape up my body and at the same time benefits me with my basketball practice also.

I have chosen her 20 minutes interval cardio workout, which is a 20 minutes cardio workout with 5 set of different exercise and each set is 4 minutes with 20 second work and 10 second rest, repeating for 8 round. Omigosh, math talk! Anyway, the objective of this workout is to do as fast as you can and as much as you can within the given time.

#1: High Knee Jump/Skipping
#2: Burpees
#3: Jump Lunges
#4: Long Jump Forward, 2 Jump Back
#5: One Leg Jump

Bonus:
#6: One Leg Push Up

Yup, all that will be my standard workout as a beginning. I'll update more soon with my diet and food intake and stuff that might be related to losing weight and looking good. Haha.

Advise: Please study the videos and the exercises first. Make sure you get the right proposition and posture of the workout for more effective effect on your body. First you must be able to do it right, then only try to do as much as possible and as fast as possible :D

Until next time, see you around my friend =)

3 Month Workout

I need to remind this to myself because I have the tendency to forget about dates. I'm going back to Sabah on November 25th, and this time, I wanted to make sure that I'm going back and looking good (healthy).

So, for 3 month plus, I already have a personal trainer to help me to get back in shape. Meet Zuzana Light from BodyRock.tv. I happens to stumble upon her on Youtube, and decided to look no more and just use her workout as a reference for my own.

Do check out her channel if you want to - BodyRock on Youtube. There's a lot of exercise routine, technique and ways that can really help you with your own workout. I already choose a few for me to kick start this month, and hopefully I won't give up that easily. Some of her workout is really brutal!

I choose her because all of her workout is able to be done at home and for my case, inside my own room, haha, and she is easy on the eyes. I'll update the workout that I had chosen this coming Saturday, and maybe some of you may want to join me and we could help to encourage and motivate each other to lose weight and stay healthy.

Until next time, see you around my friend =)

Hairography

I'm not really a stylish hair type of person. The reason being is because I don't like to use wax or hair gel at all, because when I sweat, the whole face will become oily and its really not a good experience at all.

I still want to look presentable tho. So always, I either keep my hair long or keep it very very short. I will never maintain it to be in between. My hair was the longest when I was back in college. I think it was shoulder length, and because I can't take the amount of hair falls, I cut my hair ultra thin the next day, haha.

Well, deja vu. It happens again now. I was planning to keep my hair long until end of this December, but it's very discouraging when you already clean your room today and the next two days you can find hairs all over the place. So yeah, I decided to go all Prison Break again this time.

Whats the longest length of hair that you kept before? Any male visitor here that kept their hair longer than a girl? Haha do let me know by dropping by a few comment down below.

Until next time, see you around my friend =)

Happy Birthday to Everything

First of all, I just wanted to thank my friend Bruce Lee (yes his name IS Bruce Lee), for coming out with the above signature for room8five. I have a tons of idea how to fully utilize it but have to wait patiently for the execution, haha.

Finally after long awaited anticipation from myself, I manage to register room8five.com as my own domain! The feeling is just awesome. It gives me a great sense of achievement, because this is another level of commitment for myself as a blogger.

So lets, recap a bit. Why room8five (pronounce as room-eight-five)?

When I was trying to come out with a name for my blog, back then I was actually listening to a lot of Jazz songs by a band name Room Eleven and they are from Dutch. So by now I already explained the chosen 'room' and the color orange.

Eight and Five is easy because I was born in 1985 and my birthday is on the Fifth of August! Haha, lets see how many people actually get this part :P

Oh by the way, room8five was started back in August 2008, and I am pretty sure it was somewhere around 4, 5 or 6th of August also. Let's hope it will continue to be active for another 85 years, haha.

Well if you get the hidden meaning please do drop a few encouraging comment down below. Oh! Do let me know what's your first impression of the name 'room8five'.

Until next time, see you around my friend =)
