Movie Review: Battleship (2012)

Awesomely superb 8/10

Battleship is one of the best sci-fi alien invasion movie I have watched recently! The actions is totally breath taking, the suspense was awesome and how they keep the mystery of the story is really awesome. Rock and roll soundtrack is superb, graphic is excellent, the humor is funny, overall it's really a great movie to watch and be amaze.

The plot really left audience with a lot of space for themselves to fill. What is the purpose of the alien to come to earth? Is it because they feel threaten by the signal that we sent them, or is it to invade earth? Tho answer is provided in Wikipedia but none was told in the movie itself. At the end, you won't even care whatever flaw the movie has because it was well compensated by the actions.

*Do not leave the cinema when the credits start rolling. Wait for another short scene after that.

I seriously have no problem at all to watch it the second time. It's just pure entertainment.

An unapologetically patriotic, mammoth sized action spectacle, what Battleship lacks in smarts and innovation it makes up for in pure popcorn entertainment.
