Week 01: My Way of Eating Healthily


Yes people! Diet doesn't mean you eat nothing at all. Eating nothing at all is not a diet, its called suicide! After experimenting with few methods of diet, I found a few that really helps me to lose weight. So I'll be sharing mine here and hopefully you can share yours too!

#01. Drink more water!
It simply means you drink more plain water than you used to and sweat it all out through your workout. Plus, drinking more water made you feel full and eat lesser during meal.

Arthur Guyton's Textbook of Medical Physiology states that "the total amount of water in a man of average weight (70 kilograms) is approximately 40 litres, averaging 60 percent of his total body weight. It's much more easier to lose those water than those stubborn fats, and I have been through a liquid diet before, and it works awesome. Stay away from carbonated drinks!

#02. Scheduled your meal!
Eat the proper meal at a right time and be consistent.

By scheduling your meal, you are training your body to digest the food more effectively during the scheduled time. Just by eating at the right time consistently I have lost 2KG previously without much effort of doing any workout. No more eating only when you feel like!

#03. Plan your meal ahead!
Be prepared for the expected.

The main problem when we are going through training/diet is that we are the one who is in the programme and not everyone else around us (most of the time). Sometimes there will be invitation for party or event or anything that could destroy our diet plan, but at the same time we still want to have a social life too.

Always learn to segregate the portion of your food intake. Example, if you have a dinner party then try to eat less for your lunch. 

I don't really count the intake of my calories but I do try to control it at a certain level for better result of my workout. Tho I am trying to lose weight but I still want to be able to enjoy food with my friends too :D
