2 month of waits has finally come to an end as Emerge Neon Conference 2012 has finally kick started on the last day of August. Crowd was squeezing in and filled the main hall of City Harvest while anxiously wait for the highlights of the night to start.
While some might celebrating the Tanah Melayu independence day at Stadium National Bukit Jalil, the crowd in City Harvest didn't missed out on the occasion too. The hall was filled with patriotism as the song 'Tanggal 31' by the late Sudirman was being sang after the praise and worship session.
The senior pastor of City Haverst KL, Kevin Loo even asked the song to be sang again as it was a rare occasion to see a Chinese guy in a Malay traditional outfit and singing a Malay song fluently. The multiracial crowd burst their lungs out to sing along with the Merdeka song.

One of the main highlight of the night was the Parade of School (POS), cheerleading competition. Participant from the 4 clusters has only two month to train before performing it in front of the crowd yesterday. Most of the participant has never joined any cheerleading team before and it was all first time for them.
Tho they might be new but the performances was extremely entertaining and breath taking at the same time. The stunts performed was over the top when girls starting to flying from every directions and it was scary to see them fell into the arms of their catchers.

The crowd truly enjoyed the POS performances with their thunderous claps, continuous shouting and cheering for the POS teams when they are performing. Everyone was left with many assumption of which cluster might win the POS competition this year. Winner of the POS competition will be performing again on the last day of Emerge Neon conference on Sunday.
