Impossible is Nothing and Hard Work is Everything

I have to be honest that before yesterday, I really have no idea who Jacky Hong is. Meeting him in person and having the privilege to listen to his story from the person himself, really inspires me and restored my faith that nothing is impossible for human to achieve when they have set their mind to it.

Jacky has a passion for cycling and above all, he is a loving husband and a caring dad. What made him so impressive to me is the humble journey in his early life, his determination to cycle from Kuala Lumpur to London across 16 countries for the opening of the Olympic 2012, solo and the fact that he had to leave his daughter who was only age 2 month plus back then.

Jacky really shows me that there is more to life than what we can see through our physical eyes. Everything that is unseen has to be able to work together in order for a dream to come true. You must have the heart, determination, passion and above all, your purpose to achieve your goal. 

Jacky is going to come out with a book soon. Telling stories about his journey, places that he has visited and the people that he had met along the way. I really can't wait to get my hands on it and relive his solo adventure in my imaginary world.

Nowadays you have the famous YOLO (you only live once), back then it was No Fear and my personal favorite is still Carpe Diem (seize the day). It wasn't suppose to be memes to be made fun of, but the real purpose is to push you off your comfort zone and brave yourself to chase after your dreams. It's to inspire you to live your life to the fullest and build your legacy for the next generation to come.
