I'm not sure if posting this is really a good idea. I hope it will not give a negative perspective of everyone toward me in the future. If you know me long enough, you will know that I hate to show up late. I don't like people to wait for me and I even set my time 10 minutes faster than usual.
Recently tho, I'm starting to have problem with my punctuality. I keep showing up late for events and meeting. I don't like the feeling of it but somehow it stills happened. Here are a few notable appointment where I showed up late recently.
Mini Bloggers Gathering in Sabah - I was suppose to be the main dude for the gathering and yet I showed up late cause I was sick the day before and thus delayed the our journey from Keningau to KK. Samsung Media Launch for Galaxy Tab II - I never thought KLPAC was that far and it was completely an unwell planned trip there. Muaythai Saved My Life Workshop - Late for 1 hour. Food tasting at My Elephant + - This is the most unacceptable one. I was suppose to be there by 730, I was late and then I got lost on the way there. I end up reaching the place at 9 and everyone was waiting for me. First Shutterbugs meeting - Woke up late cause I stayed up for the MU match (which I'm not really a fan) and I missed out on the details for this year's activities.
I really have to make sure that it doesn't become a habit of mine and start sticking to the old habit again to always be at the place an hour or at least half an hour before the actual starting time. Always plan the journey and know where exactly is your destination (if its a place you have never been before).
Seriously, I don't like to be late. I don't like to missed the trailers before the real show begins. I don't like to missed out on an introduction and wondering what is the event all about. I don't like to be the last guy to go in the room and had to sit alone at the corner because the rest of the people already get to know each other and became friends.
What about you? What is it that you do to not be late for an appointment? I could really need an advice or two to improve myself to be better :D

ReplyDeleteOMG, I also dun like to show up late but sometimes it's unavoidable, reason = traffic, rumah se paling jauh ni. lol well not really that jauh but it's further compared to okay when thinking about it, I have other friends that stay way far than me lol.
