Looper is a sci-fi action film where it sets in the year 2044 and time travel is invented by the year 2074. Loopers are assassins that take out people who was sent from the future by criminal organization. When crime bosses wanted to end a loooper's contract, they will send the future self back into the past to be kill by their younger self. It was also made known that mutation has occurred in 10% of the population and giving them telekinetic power to be able to levitate small object.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis portrayal of the present Joe and future Joe in the movie is just outstanding. I like the plot a lot where everything just comes together so well at the end of the movie. It somehow gives you a clear conclusion and satisfied your curiosity until you starts to talk about it.
I really love the mechanism of the time travel in this film, and how a same person from different dimension can exist in the same timeline, the mess that one can do when trying to alter the past, and at the end it triggers the mind so much that many possibilities that can be concluded from the film.
I am not to fond with the actions specially when you have the legendary action hero; Bruce Willis in the picture. It feels like it was too modest for such superstar. Nonetheless, the story line is incredibly amazing and well written. So, this is a definitely MUST WATCH.
On a side note, I do believe that time travel should not be invented. The possibilities to fix and restore the world to become a much better place is undeniably the main reason why we wanted to travel back in time, but I believe everything happened for a reason and trying to changed that will only caused unstable outcome, one that might be worse than it should be.

I think they really really succeeded in turning Joseph Gordon-Levitt into a younger Bruch Willis!!! So geng wei. The whole movie I was trying to figure out how they did it, while trying to figure out the storyline. XD

was it good? been planning to watch it soon. Bruce Willis as the older JGL? wow... like u said, people usually remember him from Die Hard, so i hope this character gives him bigger portrayal than his current big reputation.
