[Movie Review] Paranormal Activity 4 (2012)

Totally misleading ★★★☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ 3/10

I wish I have two set of pop corns to pass the time while watching Paranormal Activity 4. If you are late for the show, don't worry. You will not missed anything much. Just make sure you are there for the last 15 minute for some serious horror.

I totally dislike how the poster and trailers are misleading on what  to expect in the actual movie. If you are a Paranormal Activity fan, then you might be used to it already but I'm not a fan :(

I can respect the unique way of filming the whole movie and its unconventional story telling method but still, overall the outcome was just plain-o-boring. After sitting there and watching the movie for 88 minutes, you are left with the "what the fish actually happened?" and better still, the 5th installment is already expected to come out October next year as a continuation for the movie.

I really have no idea how to appreciate the movie anymore. I think the series is losing it's mojo already. Kathryn Newton is 15 and I can't really flatter her too much or else I'll be misunderstood as pedophile. She's really pretty tho.

Anyway, Paranormal Activity 4 is really not as spooky or horrific as I thought it would be. Seriously the plot is a bit off and the climax was far too soon to end. I don't like the feeling of being cheated and that I needed to watch the next one in order to fill this empty void that I have for the movie. Haha.
