Kawashima Makiyo Showed Girls Power

Makiyo, half Japanese half Taiwanese. Actress, singer and model, but I know her mostly from the Taiwan game shows that I used to always watch. I thought she's just a pretty face model, and really never knew that she's a singer, haha. She even released an album in 2011 titled 'Girls Power'.

2012 sure is one hell of a ride for Makiyo as she made it to the headline for attacking a cab driver when she was drunk. You can read the news HERE. Well, mistakes do happened and it gets pretty ugly when you are a celebrity. Morale of the story is, always learn to behave yourself well, no matter what.

Until next time, see you around my friend =)

Movie Review: Marvel's The Avengers (2012)

7/10 Too good to be real

I love all the superheroes, especially HULK! Omigosh, I never really thought that Hulk will exceptionally standout this time. Not much personality change in the rest of the characters that you love (which is good), and even the plot was nicely done. I love the build up of the movie.

The only downside for me is that the villain - Loki wasn't evil enough for 6 superheroes to handle. Tho having saying that, I believe this is just the warm up for the beginning of The Avengers series. The movie was all great with funny humour along the way.

*Do not leave the cinema when the credits start rolling. Wait for another short scene after that.

The dialogue sparkles as brightly as the special effects; these people may be wearing ridiculous costumes but they're well fleshed-out underneath. And so in every regard, this movie truly fulfills its hype.

Enjoy the movie people! =)

How Do You Heal The Ulcer in Your Mouth?

My mouth ulcers

It has been given me pain for few days now, and it feels a bit better today after I took the guts to put salt onto it. It's freaking painful! Thanks to everyone that drops their thoughts on my Facebook and Twitter. I feel your love :D

Mom always ask me to apply the watermelon powder, and it does work but I don't know where to find it here, haha. So some of my friends suggested using Listerine, Dexaltin or Bonjela, but mostly using salt which is cheap and efficient, and so I did.

Do you have any other method that could also helps to heal the mouth ulcer (preferably less painful, haha), method that your parents taught you or just the one that you read/heard from somewhere?

Do share you thoughts and do drink more water. The weather is blazing hot lately. ^^

Until next time, see you around my friend =)

I Am Going For The Premiere Screening of The Avengers 2012

The Avengers
Thanks to Nuffnang, I am selected to be one of the very few Malaysian to be among the first to watch the movie before it's being officially released for public viewing in the local cinema. I guess me being Mr. Chiaming is not that bad after all xD

I'm truly excited for the movie, can't wait to see Scarlett in her latex outfit all the good looking guys in their perfect figures having an egoistic battle with one another first before fighting off the bad guys and save the world from destruction. Oh yeah, we have Hulk xD

I was thinking, perhaps this time I should do something special for the premiere... wearing one of the superhero mask perhaps, haha I don't know. I'm just excited for the movie! If you are going for the premiere too, make sure to wave at me and say 'hi' :D

Until next time, see you around my friend =)

Recovering Session

I was being invited by Bruce for wall climbing last Thursday, because none of them know how to belay and you do need your own belayer if you choose to climb at Putrajaya Challenge Park (PCP).

It was kind of a mix feeling for me as I am happy that I finally able to go PCP again after more than 3 weeks I didn't climb, at the same time, I am still discourage with what happened the last time I was there; I performed very badly in my last climb. Thus I said to myself: "Today, I will not climb also".

It was great seeing how these 4 young people climb and learned how to belay. Basically I'm just there to make sure they belay correctly and climb safely and my job was done. Looking at their passion and how energetic they are, really made me want to climb too, but I was trying to save the embarrassment of not being able to complete a route.

In the end I gave up, put on the climbing shoes and gave it a go. Starting with the easiest red, half way up the wall I was being strike with fear, apparently after so long never being up there, you will get scared of heights again. I panicked a bit and cheat my way to the top, lol.

After that, I went on to tried the blue route that has been discouraging me for so many time, and like how it happened in my mind for weeks, I finally manage to came up with the solution for my disadvantage on that route, but still its not a finished project yet.

Not really a glorious comeback but I am okay with it as it gave my confidence back. Life is just the same. Not all will come easy for you, and you really need a strong heart in order not to lose faith in what you believe in. You need people to inspire you too. So don't be weary, at least not now.

Until next time, see you around my friend =)

Cool T-shirts Online

I wonder how many of you all knew that I used to sells T-shirts and also selling them online? Haha, it was a great experience in the past, the travels, the productions and of course the earning too. Tho I sell T-shirts online but I never really do buy T-shirts online. Ironic isn't it?

One of my friend had setup an online business lately and I truly like some of designs on sale. I like those designs that's related to climbing and workout just because I am so into both at the moment, haha. I might want to buy T-shirts online, and wear it as a statement or an identity for myself.

Those are some of the design which caught my eyes. You can check out some other designs HERE and who knows you might fall in love and want to own one of it too :D

Until next time, see you around my friend =)

G-Yi Tang Hong Kong Dim Sum Restaurant @ USJ 10 Taipan, Subang Jaya

My first dim sum breakfast for this month, and 7 of us decided to give a newly opened dim sum shop in Taipan for a try. All I know about Hong Kong dim sum, is that it's going to be pricey but my lust for small lil' meaty stuff says that I must give it a go :D

The order form. Price ranging from RM3.80 to RM6.00

Our tea for detox

Andrew from GigglersLife

Preserved egg and pork congee

My fav - Deep-fried taro pastry a.k.a Wu Kok

Bean curd sheet shrimp rolls

Deep-fried shrimp dumplings with salad

Steamed spare ribs with yam

Siu Mai

Steamed golden bun

Steamed rice rolls with shrimps/bbq pork and parsley

Chicken feet with spicy sauce

5 out of 7 who ate like a boss!

IMHO, none of the dish really stands out from one another, and its really not compatible with the price that you are paying for. The food are still acceptable. Other than the missing yam, the steamed spare ribs and the chicken feet is quite tasty. The rest are just pretty normal for me.

End of Week 02 and The Start of Week 03

72KG

Another KG lost and I did so much better than week 01. I started to run on treadmill again, doing my interval time training more often and I even went for wall climbing this week. Tho I did not manage to complete my no meat challenge, but I still didn't eat any meat for 4 days out of the 7 days challenge.

I have joined a site - http://www.slimkicker.com. I will give it a week of test run before making any comment about it, but so far, it is really informative and a fun way to keep track of your diet and workout. It also give you suggestion of an ideal diet for you and also have a few challenge that you can join in order to gain points.

I notice Mas Light and JNa has already joined the site. Even my friend Andrew has joined in the fun as well. Haha, perhaps there will be a healthy competition going on between us?  You can look me up - room8five, and perhaps we can challenge each other too :D

Anyway, I hope you still trying your best in your workout. Don't give up to soon. Keep on pushing on till you see the result that you wanted.

Until next time, see you around my friend =)

room8five Challenge: 20 Normal Push-ups a Day

I already had a challenge in mind for this week, but since I'm giving Slim Kickers a test run, I've joined one of the challenge posted, which is 20 normal push-ups a day. I copy and paste what is written for the challenge just so you know what to do.

For the next 7 days, do 20 normal pushups a day. Spread them out or do them all at once.
If you're looking to firm up your upper body and increase your chest muscle strength, this challenge will hit those goals head on. The 20 push-ups a day challenge is a great one for anyone to take and will only require about 3 minutes from your day. Let's look at what this challenge entails.
1. Why Push-Ups?
Push-ups are the exercise of choice for this challenge because they are going to work multiple muscles at once and help to boost your metabolism, increasing your overall daily calorie burn.
In addition to that, they'll firm up your arms, so if you feel like your arms are rather 'soft and flabby', this is a way to get past this.
Push-ups can be done without any equipment as well, making them a fantastic option wherever you happen to be doing your workout. Or if you prefer, you can do them at any point in the day when you have a few spare seconds.
2. How To Properly Perform Push-Ups
To properly perform the push-up, you want to place the hands down beneath you about shoulder width apart. From there, bend at the elbows while keeping the back in alignment and lower yourself down until your sternum is almost touching the ground. Note that the body should stay in a straight line throughout this movement.
Pause at the top and then press back up until the elbows are fully extended again. That completes one rep, so aim for ten before moving on.
3. Advanced Moves To Consider
The last thing to consider is the advanced moves that you can do to boost the intensity and see faster results. If you can do a regular push-up with ease, consider incline or decline push-ups.
Place the hands or feet up on a bench behind you and push-up from there. Still not challenging enough?
Push-ups on an exercise ball is the way to go then. This exercise will really target every single muscle fiber deep within the chest muscle as it contracts to keep you stabilized. In addition to that, you'll also hit the abs to a very large extent with this exercise, which will help reduce the total time you have to spend doing crunches.
So get ready to give your upper body muscles a challenge. Aim for 20 a day and you'll feel a difference in as little as one week's time.

Until next time, see you around my friend =)

That Hot Babe is Brooklyn Decker

Do you still remember the above scene from the movie Just Go With It (2011)? Brooklyn Decker, born April 12, 1987. Married to Andy Roddick (American tennis player), fashion model and best known for her appearance in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues.

Tho I felt that her appearance in Battleship (2012) is just because of the pretty face, but then again she really did a great job with that. Hopefully she could do well in her acting career as she is in her modelling career. I really have no problem seeing her in any movie again :D

Enjoy your Sunday people! =)
